In this clip from The Now Show on 3rd October 2014, John Finnemore talks about the recent party conferences. Also features Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis, Pippa Evans and Mitch Benn No image slideshow for this video. I've got better things to do with my time than Googling for pictures of Nick Griffin or Ed Miliband Now, where can I get a cake of competence?

Vitalite sunflower adverts
Переглядів 124 тис.10 років тому
A collection of all the Vitalite adverts I could find that feature the singing sunflowers, and the music from "Israelites" by Desmond Dekker Apologies that the sound levels aren't very consistent
Griff Rhys Jones Vauxhall adverts
Переглядів 50 тис.11 років тому
Here's a collection of all the Vauxhall adverts I could find that feature Griff Rhys Jones as a bearded boffin. This campaign only lasted for a year (1999-2000), as after the embarrassment of the VX220 advert (3:29), Vauxhall dispensed with his services. The earlier ones are quite humorous, in Griff's own unmistakeable style All offensive comments will be removed
Hallowe'en (The Now Show 2003)
Переглядів 77412 років тому
The team discuss the finer points of trick-or-treating, horror films, monsters and fresh fruit, in this Hallowe'en edition of The Now Show from October 2003. As usual, we have a BBC copyrighted soundtrack and lots of Google Images. Apologies for the crude editorial changes Listen out for a classic Marcus Brigstocke tirade in the middle!
Mitch Benn: IKEA (The Now Show)
Переглядів 31 тис.12 років тому
This song was revised and released on Mitch Benn's album "Crimes Against Music", but here is the original version as performed on The Now Show. Again, we have the BBC copyrighted soundtrack and Google Images It's perhaps worth mentioning that the rest of the cast (Hugh Dennis in particular) spent a lot of time earlier on in the show ranting about the Microsoft Office Paperclip
Mitch Benn: McDonald's (The Now Show)
Переглядів 17 тис.12 років тому
One more of Mitch Benn's hilarious songs set to video by the traditional UA-cam combination of Windows Movie Maker, several unauthorised Google Image results and a soundtrack which is copyrighted by the BBC McDonald's, prepare yourself for some light-hearted abuse Is it wrong that I felt hungry while gathering the images for this one?
Mitch Benn: It Ain't Really Jazz (The Now Show)
Переглядів 2,3 тис.12 років тому
Here is another of Mitch Benn's superb songs set to video by the traditional UA-cam combination of Windows Movie Maker, several unauthorised Google Image results and a soundtrack which is copyrighted by the BBC This time, Mitch takes on the pseudo-jazz music of Cullum, Melua and Jones

Mitch Benn: Obamabama! (The Now Show)
Переглядів 34 тис.15 років тому
This is just another one of Mitch Benn's brilliant songs that has been set to video by the traditional UA-cam combination of Windows Movie Maker, several unauthorised Google Image results and a soundtrack which is copyrighted by the BBC. The author/compiler of this video is herein expressing no political views pertaining to the US presidential elections; I'm just sharing what I think is a crack...
Can't see what was so wrong with some of these adverts, even the VX220 isn't abysmal as adverts go. Sounds to me like Vauxhall wanted someone to blame.
Paul Kaye ain't it? 😂
That one advert I remember watching back in 2000 where you can buy a Vauxhall off the Internet. "MUM! DAD JUST BOUGHT A CAR!" Hehe! 😆😆😆
I knew it was him!
My parents had a Zaria
Vauxhall Are Britain's Answer To Opel
Obviously!
Smith and Sniff brought me here
Sent by Smith and Sniff to refresh my aging memory.
9 year old me struggled to sit in the seats in the boot how the hell was he moving around freely 😂
If you move the middle bench and front seat slightly forward, you can comfortably sit a 6-footer behind a 6-footer, behind a 6-footer!
They are such convincing brothers, they even have the same eye structure lol
John Finnemore is awesome! Not heard him do satirical stuff much before - very smart 🤘🏻
Pretty sure this was the first episode of the Now Show I Heard- aged about 13. ,ich nostalgia.
great adverts. never bought any.
VAUXHALL ''Rising the standard''
They're hideous!
They should bring back Vitalite.
Frasier and Niles might be the greatest comedic duo of all time. In my opinion, "Frasier" is the best spin-off show ever created.
Meanwhile, at the homes of all their prospective guests: "We've been invited over by the Mr. Crane." "BLACKBALL!" "
First they fight over guests, then they fight over "the other one" message, followed then by the constant date changes between them and Martin and the cancellations from the rival caterers. Definitely one of Frasier's best episodes.
after browsering ebay and see the chevette from vuxhall and the engine space it reminded me of the car used in the 3rd advert as i wondered what it was, back then in 99' 00' i wsn't that bothered but now remembering these and that tin of sardeens in there i now know its a very rare vuxhall victor FB esate! but now i've seen it and i'm very happy but yeah i can see the space inside those older vuxhalls!
I never had Vitalite on my toast before. It looks tasty, but I don't know if Vitalite exists or not anymore.
0:32 love how Niles is a bit skeptical toward the amount of blackballs Frasier takes for himself.
I still enjoy the humor no matter how many times I see the series.tSo well written and the performances of Frazier and Niles are perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely true! 🤣🤣🤣
Who animated this and where was it animated? California? Richard Williams?
I love when he says they're in America testing the Corsa. With the skyline of Toronto minus the CN Tower as a backdrop.
And the car being unloaded by a bulk-carrier Lake freighter
Ah, the pre-9/11 days...
God I forgot about this... it's still funny.
Trotsky, this is why you got ice-picked!
Another funny part is they think one of their guest is bringing Joaquin the conductor of the Buenos Aires symphony but they find out it’s their foster child from the Amazon jungle who only eats jerk beef and rice.
Favorite episode <3
I still remember this over 20 years later. This show was ahead of its time.
i love the why dont we ride over their tandom and ask her why she thinks were so weird. absolutely crying
I didn't know Jeremy Corbyn did Vauxhall adverts
Great acting and comedic timing and writing
hilarious! love it
Polyunsaturates doesn't rhyme! That last ad was the best of all - they're all good of course!
I wonder if the birken’s call their stock Birkenstock 🤣
Love this version of Paul Simon's classic. Very funny
The Frank Sinatra moon hasn’t haunted my dreams in many years. But not tonight
The Frank Sinatra moon has never haunted your dreams. It's supposed to be Bing Crosby.
0:09 "still more head..... room" hahaha
My geography teacher sent this for home work and I don't get what I'm support to do with it 😬😂
Thank you for this compilation of my favourite adverts. The singer in the original advert had the best voice. They should bring these back, they were so sunny and cheerful. 🌞🌻🌻🌻🌻😎
That 3rd row of the Zafira isn't good for adults, it's only suitable for young children
I remember a couple of these from trips to the UK....and I knew this song before I knew Israelites!
It was a crying shame this program was cut short long before it could go stale.
Wow this takes me back! Must confess that given that Clinton was roundly beat by Obama I can't for the life of me figure out why she put herself up in the 2016 election when there was even more anti-establishment feelings rather than just sliding into obscurity.
This entire episode was so funny and well-written. My favorite part of this episode is the two of them bickering over "you get one, you get that other one!"
"Well obviously you're that other one"
My favorite part is when they keep changing the dates with Martin and Martin almost falls for their reverse psychology ploy haha.
You never question the blackball
WE NEVER QUESTION THE BLACKBALL we just bow to its will
The funniest line ever!!
